Happy 6th Birthday Hunter Kyle!!!

Six years ago today my life was forever changed by this sweet boy! Hunter Kyle Stewart came into this world at 5:25pm on December 17, 2003!!! There is nothing that compares with seeing your baby for the first time!!

This little face still melts my heart! I love that he still sleeps with this blankie!!!

It is so sweet how he loves both of his sisters!! Alli and Hunter are great friends.(most of the time!)
There was instant love between these two! Emery adores her big brother!!

Three years ago Hunter went through a phase when he brought his little guitar to church every Sunday when I was practicing with the worship band.

This was Hunter last Sunday when the kids sang in church. I have high hopes that he will be a worship leader some day!!(or a preacher like Papi.... who Hunter Adores!)

This year Hunter wanted a swimming party.....so we had one! We are thankful for the Marriott and the indoor pool! When you have a December Birthday you have to be creative!! Hunter is a fish when it comes to water. (he can hold his breath a very very long time!)

We had pizza, pop and cookie cake. Hunter invited his best buddies from school, his 2 cousins that are his age and his best girl buddy, Mary Kate!!

Mommy and daddy love you so much and we are so proud of you. Here are some of the things we love about you!

-you love to watch TV!(it is good you go to school all day or else you would be glued to the TV!)

-You love to wrestle and play rough with daddy and Papi!

-you will play dress up with your sisters!

-you love mommy so much and you give me the sweetest compliments (even when I look bad)

-you LOVE food, especially desert! (you wouldn't know it because you are super skinny!)

-You love to talk about Jesus and memorize Bible verses!

There are so many more to list, but I want you to know that you will always be my precious baby boy! You make every day of my life a joy. I can't wait to see the things God has in store for your life!! I know they will be GREAT! I am just thankful he chose me to be your mommy!!!

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY!!!!

Counting My Blessings...

WOW.....the past couple months have been a whirlwind! We have had so much going on and I know it is only going to get even more crazy this next month!!! I am so glad I take a lot of pictures because it seems to be the best way for me to remember what we have been doing!

My Grandma passed away at the end of October. We have always been close so it has been sad but I rejoice that she is in heaven with my grandpa. All of our family was in town for her memorial service and I realized what a great impact she had made on all of our lives! She always enjoyed and took very good care of her family. I want to be like her!! I never want to be so busy that I cannot enjoy my family. I feel so blessed to have the best husband and children! They are the light of my life! I also have amazing parents and in-laws that are a great example on what loving your family should look like! I have a great Brother and sister (who married great people!). Kyle has great siblings (with great spouses!) and lots of cousins who my kids love. I have amazing friends who I enjoy so much! I have an awesome Church family, but most of all I have a SAVIOR who loves me no matter what. He is the reason I have all of these BLESSINGS!!!

Back from the Mountains!!!

Okay, I am a week behind in posting this! Better late than never...right?!!! My Brother and sister in law moved to Colorado Springs a few months ago. Kyle and I took the kids on a trip to visit for Fall Break. We had such a fun time!!! We did lots of stuff in the few days that we were there so there are LOTS of pictures in this post! I just couldn't leave anything out!!!

Emery was thinking this could be a good trip if she keeps getting to steal her sisters Sprite!!

Aunt Lindsay had been here to visit so she rode to Colorado with us!(Bless her heart!)

We stopped in Amarillo Texas the first night! The kids were refreshed and ready to go the next day!


We finally arrived in Colorado Springs that late afternoon. Hunter and Alli were so happy there were bunk beds!!


My little Emery was happy to be out of the car!!

When we got there the kids were SOOO Happy to see uncle Chris!

We did a little shopping in a really pretty out door mall.

We went to dinner at the yummiest hamburger place ever!

"Five Guys Burgers and Fries" we love you!!!

The next day we got up and went to the Focus on the Family institute! They have the most Awesome kids area ever!!!

Then we headed over to the awesome Colorado Springs Zoo!

It was so cool to see the Giraffes so close up!!

Alli, however did not think the Giraffes were that cool when they were so close!

Hunter loved being so close to everything! He is quite the animal Lover!!!

On our way out we had to see the Giraffes again!

Everyone needed some popcorn and lemonade!!

The next day we went to a beautiful park so Chris and Lindsay could take pics of us for our Christmas cards!

Emery would swing all day if we let her.

After the park we drove to Denver to go to a really cool mall!

They had the BIGGEST fireplace I have ever seen in the middle of their food court!

Alli LOVES to try on shoes! even if they are way to big!!!

Saturday we hung out all day and then we went to Sat. night church!

My Brother is the Student life pastor at Mt. Springs Church and he wanted me to help lead worship for his Youth Service!

We were sad to leave but the girls needed to run off some energy before our 12 hour trip home!!

The kids grew especially fond of "Lad the dog" and were trying to tell him goodbye!

We had such a good trip! We can't wait to do it again!!! If only we could skip the long drive!!! We love you uncle Chris and aunt Lindsay! We can't wait to see you again!!!
