I have been thinking about Easter all week and how awesome it is that we serve a risen Savior everyday, not just on Easter! Every Easter since I was little I remember my dad calling people early on Easter morning and saying, "I went to the tomb and he is not there! HE IS ALIVE!!!" How great is that?!! I am so thankful for all the blessings in my life but I am most thankful for for an amazing God! I serve a God who loves me no matter what kind of day I am having or what I have done. He sent his son to pay the ultimate sacrifice. I am just glad the story didn't end there. The miracle was that morning when the disciples went to the tomb and he was not there!!! He was alive!! He is still very much alive today!!! For that I am truly thankful!!!

Is the Easter bunny real?!!!!
Okay, yesterday I was at Hobby Lobby with Hunter. We were getting some Easter stuff so we were talking about Easter. This is how our conversation went.....
Hunter. "Mom, is the Easter bunny even real?"
Me. "What do you think?"
Hunter. " I think it is just a person dressed up in a rabbit costume and he probably lives in sunny California!"
I just started cracking up. Where did the sunny California thing come from?!!! Anyways, it turned out to be a really good conversation about Easter. We talked about Jesus loving us so much that He died for us. Then we talked about the Resurrection. He already knew the story but he is so much more interested now! I love it !!! Hunter has such a mind for learning every detail and such a sweet and tender heart. I pray that he continues to want to learn about the things that ARE REAL!

Last night Hunter came into the living room with his Batman pj's on and his Batman mask. He asked me if I would take a picture of him standing on the chair.

Little Valentines and my Birthday WEEK!
I feel like I am so behind in posting right now! The time flies when you are having fun I guess!! I am sad to say that my Birthday WEEK is over! (with the exception of going to dinner with a friend on Thursday!) Yes, my family gives me a hard time about celebrating my Birthday for a WEEK! It really is fun if you haven't tried it!!! It is really just a way to get what ever you want for a week.
My week started last Monday with dinner at my in-laws. It was fun and super yummy! My mother-in-law is the best cook ever! It is always fun to be with my Husbands family. There are 5 kids, 4 in-laws and 13 grand kids. My kids looove their cousins!
On Friday my parents kept all 3 of my kids over night. Kyle and I went to dinner, a movie and to get desert! We even got to sleep in until 9:30 an Saturday. (I can't remember the last time we did that!)
Sunday night we went to my parents for another yummy dinner! My brother and sister are both married now and it is always fun to hang out with them. (I also got lots of nice gifts!!! )
Yesterday was my real birthday and I just hung out with the kids all day and then Kyle brought Olive Garden home for dinner. I really need to stop eating now!!!
It was a fun and busy week. We also had valentines parties, church and my mother-in-law had surgery. Below are some pictures of the kiddos! I always have time for that. They made my birthday and valentines day even better!!!

Iced in with many BLESSINGS!
I was thinking today that I have way to much to blog about! That is probably because we have been trapped inside for so long. (Thanks to my parents who came to take me and the kids to Mc Donalds this afternoon! It was the highlight of our week!) I would like to say I feel so blessed to be trapped inside with my 3 precious babies! I am also thankful that I have a Wonderful Husband that works hard everyday so I can be at home. God has really given me so many blessings and for that I am thankful!!! Here are a few pictures to remember our week so far.....
*This pic is Hunter with his "KING ARTHUR" award from school!(Student of the month in his Pre-k class.)
*Outside enjoying the snow(or should I say ice?!!)! Don't worry...Emery was only out there for the picture!

*Daddy let Hunter and Alli slide down the driveway in a box!

*Hunter, Alli & Emery before church on Sunday! (Yes, I make them do this every week. Can't you tell by Hunter's face that he loves this tradition?!!)

I hope everyone is staying warm and enjoying the many blessings God has given! May we never forget that all good things come from above!!!

Beach Party!!!!

So....I guess my kids have been trapped in the house to much. (due to sickness!) Last night after Kyle and I were done cleaning up the kitchen we went into the living room. Hunter and Alli had made a swimming pool out of pillows. They both had on swimsuits and sunglasses. We asked them what they were doing and Hunter said, "we are having a beach party!"
